Dual LED lights illuminate your work area (because most backstage spaces are dim at best), and the soft start + electric brake give you smoother handling and added safety. Base swaps are fast thanks to the quick cam lock, and it ships with both 1/4" and 3/8" collets, guides, and a trimmer base — ready for scenic, foam, hardwood, or MDF.

If STAR detects conditions that threaten to overload, overdischarge or overheat the tool or battery, the tool will automatically stop. At that time the user can either restart the tool, change or charge the battery, and put the tool back to work.
